Be Me Day Nursery Highbury is located inside the Loxfords development on Highbury Park Road, opposite Joan of Arc Primary School. Surrounded by beautiful trees and prestigious grounds our nursery is located inside Loxfords House at the heart of the Highbury community, a stone’s throw from the Emirates Stadium and a short walk to the local shops. The secure grounds of the Loxfords offers a safe environment for children to explore indoors and outdoors within the development.
Our Fresh Water Aquarium set in the wall between our Toddler and Pre-School rooms is home to our African Cichlids, the most diverse species of fish in the world, all the way from Lake Malawi.
Our open plan children’s cooking counter offers our children the opportunity to learn about cooking and food, socialising with our Chef teams and getting involved in the preparation and cooking of their food.
Our Nature Garden and qualified Teachers bring elements of Forest School to life for our children. Our specialist all-natural play area provides a safe and secure environment for our children to enjoy a sense of the outdoors, with activities designed to promote a love for the natural world, building confidence and curiosity.
Our team can speak over 10 different languages, providing a welcoming environment for children with English as an additional language. With 7 Spanish speaking team members we teach Spanish language through games, songs and activities, all bought to life by our fantastic team.
Early years education lays the foundation for a child’s lifelong learning, behaviour, and development. During this crucial stage of rapid brain growth, a high-quality early environment supports cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. It fosters curiosity, creativity, and empathy, while also building confidence and key academic abilities like language, literacy, and numeracy, setting children up for success in school and beyond.
