We provide a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. Our safe, welcoming spaces encourage confidence, curiosity, and independence, laying the foundation for lifelong learning. With a tailored approach and a passionate, skilled team, we support each child’s unique journey through the early years.
Childcare
At Be Me Day Nurseries, we offer flexible, tailored care to meet the unique needs of every child and family. Our nurturing, structured environment supports positive attachments, emotional expression, and resilience. With a warm and responsive team, we help children feel happy, safe, and free to explore their curiosity and creativity.

Positive Attachments

We understand that starting nursery can feel daunting, especially with your little pride and joy. To support this transition, we offer introductory coffee mornings where you can meet other families, chat with our experienced team, and explore your child’s new room. Our settling-in process is designed to build trust for both parents and children, ensuring everyone feels confident and comfortable from the start.
Key Person

Every child at Be Me Day Nurseries is assigned a Key Person who supports them and your family through the settling-in process. They gather key information about your child to create a personalised care plan, helping build strong attachments and ensuring individual needs are met. As your child grows in confidence, they’ll explore the environment, build friendships, and enjoy daily activities, all captured and shared with you through our Famly app.
All Inclusive

At Be Me Day Nurseries, we offer a premium all-inclusive service, providing nappies, wipes, meals, snacks, formula milk, and bedding. You’re welcome to bring comfort items like sleep suits or dummies, which we’ll keep safe and clean. We simply ask that you supply spare clothes and any barrier creams needed. A range of formula options, including organic brands, is available and can be sourced to suit your baby’s needs.
Routine

Before your child starts nursery, our team will work with you to understand their routine, including feeding, sleep, interests, and dietary needs. We aim to mirror your home routine to provide comfort and consistency. As your child grows, we’ll keep in close communication to adapt their care and ensure they continue to thrive.
Famly App

To support strong partnerships with parents, we use the Famly app to share daily updates, learning progress, and group activities. You’ll receive a login before your child starts and can use the app to update key information like medical details and contacts. Famly helps keep us connected and aligned on what matters most for your child’s care and development.
Milk

We offer flexible feeding options for babies, including formula (with organic choices) and expressed breast milk. You’re welcome to breastfeed onsite in a calm, quiet space, or we can store and feed expressed milk at your preferred times. Just speak to our team before you start so we can support your chosen routine.
Sleep

Sleep is vital for early development, and we tailor routines to suit each child, especially young babies. Your Key Person will follow your home sleep routine to provide consistency. Our nurseries have dedicated sleep areas with calming music and cuddles to help your child feel safe and relaxed.
Early Years Education
Early years education lays the foundation for a child’s lifelong learning, behaviour, and development. During this crucial stage of rapid brain growth, a high-quality early environment supports cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. It fosters curiosity, creativity, and empathy, while also building confidence and key academic abilities like language, literacy, and numeracy, setting children up for success in school and beyond.

Settling In
Starting at a new nursery can be a big change for both you and your child, and it’s completely normal to feel both excitement and apprehension. Rest assured, our wonderful team is dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment where your child can feel safe and valued. We understand that each child adjusts at their own pace, and we will be here to support them every step of the way.

Settling In Sessions
Settling sessions are usually arranged for 5 consecutive days leading up to the scheduled start date. Each session time is gradually increased to allow appropriate time for your child to get used to their new environment and our team. We understand that every child will respond differently to settling into nursery, so we think it is important that the process is uniquely adapted to your child. We will always be flexible with settling sessions so if you think your child needs some more time, the process can be extended if needed. Settling sessions can be scheduled at different times of day to suit your child’s current routine, this can be discussed with the management team nearer the time to organise sessions accordingly.
Be Brave, Be Positive
Babies and young children are extremely intuitive, they can pick up on any signs of nerves from parents or carers. So just like we encourage our children to be brave, now is the time for parents to practice the same… Talk to your child about starting nursery, speak positively about the experience and come wearing your biggest smile! This will certainly put your child in good stead to enjoy a positive settling experience at nursery.
Be Consistent
Babies and young children thrive with consistency, so establishing a stable routine for nursery drop offs and pick-ups is advised. Even if you want to be flexible in the future, during the settling in phase helping your child to know what to expect is key to helping them feel settled and happy.
Be Calm with Gradual Goodbyes
When it comes to leaving your child with us be calm and confident, and always remember to say goodbye. Sometimes it is tempting to sneak out if they are engaged in play, but it’s important that your child gets used to you saying bye and leaving for the day. Sometimes there are a few tears (from children and parents), but rest assured our team will comfort your child with lots of cuddles and attention.
Be Patient
We know that as parents you have very busy lives, but it’s important to be patient when it comes to settling your child into nursery. All children respond differently to this transition and sometimes it can take a little longer for the whole family to get used to nursery life. We are here to support you, and our team offer the very best care and education for your child, so be happy that you’ve made the right choice.
