Be Me Day Nursery Orient Close is located in a small private development in a peaceful location off of London Road. Orient Close is the smallest of our five settings, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in beauty and heritage, also boasting the largest outdoor play area of all our settings. A historical landmark of St Albans, the station house still has the original platform to the front of the building and many more charming features and characteristics.
Be Me Orient Close is set in the Old Station House, with lots of charming features and architectural beauty. A cosy and warm learning space set across two floors where children can feel comfortable and happy to explore their learning.
Be Me Orient Close has the largest outdoor play area of all our settings, with free flow from our Pre-School, enabling our children to explore the outdoors throughout the day. Our Toddler room also has free flow to a small garden space, which is used for group play and planting and growing.
Our team at Be Me Orient Close are highly qualified and experienced working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disability. With a cosy warm space this setting is a calming environment perfect for children who may need a little extra support to access their learning.
Our hidden Forest School play area and qualified Forest School Teachers bring elements of Forest School to life for our children. Our specialist woodland den provides a safe and secure environment for our children to enjoy a sense of the outdoors, with activities designed to promote a love for the natural world, building confidence and curiosity.
Early years education lays the foundation for a child’s lifelong learning, behaviour, and development. During this crucial stage of rapid brain growth, a high-quality early environment supports cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. It fosters curiosity, creativity, and empathy, while also building confidence and key academic abilities like language, literacy, and numeracy, setting children up for success in school and beyond.
